Wednesday – Church by Candlelight – St Georges on-the-Hill Anglican, Toronto

Offered on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. from Thanksgiving to Victoria Day. The candlelight celebration is a time to pause in the middle of a busy week and relax as candlelight and darkness immerses you in an experience of prayer, meditation and music. No prayer books, no hymnals; candles provide all the light needed. The evening offers the comfort of anonymity by candlelight, followed by an opportunity to converse and connect afterwards. This service is offered in-person.

A Prayer for the Week
In your compassionate love, O God,
you nourish us with the words of life and bread of blessing.
Grant that Jesus may calm our fears
and move our hearts to praise your goodness
by sharing our bread with others. Amen.
