Wednesday – Church by Candlelight – St Georges on-the-Hill Anglican, Toronto

Offered on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. from Thanksgiving to Victoria Day. The candlelight celebration is a time to pause in the middle of a busy week and relax as candlelight and darkness immerses you in an experience of prayer, meditation and music. No prayer books, no hymnals; candles provide all the light needed. The evening offers the comfort of anonymity by candlelight, followed by an opportunity to converse and connect afterwards. This service is offered in-person.

A Prayer for the Week
God of LOVE, we thank you for the Spirits who were trailblazers,
moving and shaking people’s hearts and minds.
Stir up in us that same energy of those who helped pave the way
for where our LGBTQIA+ siblings are today.
May we never stop expanding the borders of love
and acceptance for queer, brown, and black bodies. Amen.
