Front Porch Food Drive

Once again, St. George’s is collecting food for St. James Food Basket!

Last year, we collected over 1000 items from neighbours and friends.  This year, our goal is 1500!

Bags have been dropped off around the community, and pick up happens Sunday, May 11th.  Just leave your bag on your porch and someone will pick it up in the afternoon.

Church by Candlelight

Our final Church by Candlelight for the season is Wednesday, May 14th.
Church by Candlelight will resume in October following Thanksgiving.

A quiet mid-week service featuring glorious a cappella harmonies, a short meditation on scripture and the Eucharist, in our beautiful church space lit by candles.

The service is usually followed by a time of fellowship and refreshment.

Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.

A Prayer for the Week
O God,
in Christ you give us hope
for a new heaven and a new earth.
Grant us wisdom to interpret the signs of our times,
courage to stand in the time of trial,
and faith to witness to your truth and love. Amen.

Please join us right here online, this Sunday at 10:30am as we celebrate the Twenty-third Sunday after Pentecost with the Fr. PJ Carefoote, accompanied by the choir and Music Director Ran Kim.

This service will also include An Act of Remembrance, with trumpeter Sam Hughes.
