Wednesday – Church by Candlelight

Offered on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. from Thanksgiving to Victoria Day. The candlelight celebration is a time to pause in the middle of a busy week and relax as candlelight and darkness immerses you in an experience of prayer, meditation and music. No prayer books, no hymnals; candles provide all the light needed.  The evening offers the comfort of anonymity by candlelight, followed by an opportunity to converse and connect afterwards. This service is offered in-person.

For the 2025-26 season, there will be no Church by Candlelight on December 24th or 31st.

Transfiguration Sunday & Black History Celebration

A Prayer for the Week
Liberating God,
you call us to love you
with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength,
and to love our neighbours as ourselves:
write your word upon our hearts
and bind us together in one heart and one love.
As we celebrate Black History Month,
shape us by the witness of those who have struggled for justice,
that our worship may be lived in truth,
and your reign may draw near among us.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Please join us online this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. as we celebrate Transfiguration Sunday and Black History Month with guest preacher Brainerd Blyden-Taylor, Rev'd Jess Dowling, the chancel choir and music director Ran Kim.
