Wednesday – Church by Candlelight – St Georges on-the-Hill Anglican, Toronto

Offered on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. from Thanksgiving to Victoria Day. The candlelight celebration is a time to pause in the middle of a busy week and relax as candlelight and darkness immerses you in an experience of prayer, meditation and music. No prayer books, no hymnals; candles provide all the light needed. The evening offers the comfort of anonymity by candlelight, followed by an opportunity to converse and connect afterwards. This service is offered in-person.

A Prayer for the Week
Almighty God,
your blessed apostles Peter and Paul
glorified you in their death as in their life.
Grant that your church throughout the world
may always be instructed by their teaching and example,
be knit together in unity by your Spirit,
and ever stand firm
upon the one foundation
who is Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
