Wednesday – Church by Candlelight – 7:30pm – St Georges on-the-Hill Anglican, Toronto

Offered on Wednesday evenings from Thanksgiving to Victoria Day. The candlelight celebration is a time to pause in the middle of a busy week and relax as candlelight and darkness immerses you in an experience of prayer, meditation and music. No prayer books, no hymnals; candles provide all the light needed. The evening offers the comfort of anonymity by candlelight, followed by an opportunity to converse and connect afterwards. This service is offered in-person.

The Baptism of the Lord

A Prayer for the Week
Holy God,
creator of light and herald of goodness,
at the waters of his baptism
you proclaimed Jesus your beloved Son.
With the baptized of every time and generation,
may we say yes to your call to repentance
and be led to the life of abundance we experience
in your kinship and your love. Amen.

Please join us online this Sunday at 10:30am as we celebrate the Baptism of the Lord with the Rev'd Janet Sidey, accompanied by the choir and music director Ran Kim.
