Wednesday – Church by Candlelight – 7:30pm – St Georges on-the-Hill Anglican, Toronto

Offered on Wednesday evenings from Thanksgiving to Victoria Day. The candlelight celebration is a time to pause in the middle of a busy week and relax as candlelight and darkness immerses you in an experience of prayer, meditation and music. No prayer books, no hymnals; candles provide all the light needed. The evening offers the comfort of anonymity by candlelight, followed by an opportunity to converse and connect afterwards. This service is offered in-person.

A Prayer for the Week
God of unfailing light,
in your realm of glory
the poor are blessed,
the hungry filled,
and every tear is wiped away.
Strengthened by this vision,
may we follow in the way of holiness
that your Son made known in life and death. Amen.

Please join us online this Sunday for a special Jazz Eucharist at 10:30am as we celebrate All Saints' Sunday with guest minister Rev. Tim Elliott, Fr. Michelle Childs Ward, accompanied by the Colleen Allen Quartet, comprised of Colleen Allen, saxophone, Marie Goudy, trumpet, Fern Lindzon, piano, and Bennett Young, bass.
