Wednesday – Church by Candlelight – 7:30pm – St Georges on-the-Hill Anglican, Toronto

Offered on Wednesday evenings from Thanksgiving to Victoria Day. The candlelight celebration is a time to pause in the middle of a busy week and relax as candlelight and darkness immerses you in an experience of prayer, meditation and music. No prayer books, no hymnals; candles provide all the light needed. The evening offers the comfort of anonymity by candlelight, followed by an opportunity to converse and connect afterwards. This service is offered in-person.

A Prayer for the Week
Steadfast God,
your prophets set the plumb line of your righteousness and truth
in the midst of your people.
Grant us the courage to judge ourselves against it.
Straighten all that is crooked or warped within us
until our hearts and souls stretch upright, blameless and holy,
to meet the glory of Christ. Amen.
