Wednesday – Church by Candlelight – St Georges on-the-Hill Anglican, Toronto

Offered on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. from Thanksgiving to Victoria Day. The candlelight celebration is a time to pause in the middle of a busy week and relax as candlelight and darkness immerses you in an experience of prayer, meditation and music. No prayer books, no hymnals; candles provide all the light needed. The evening offers the comfort of anonymity by candlelight, followed by an opportunity to converse and connect afterwards. This service is offered in-person.

A Prayer for the Week
Christ Jesus, your love is made visible
through the mystery of your death and resurrection.
Make us one in you.
Transform us into people of mercy
who reach out to embrace you in the suffering ones in our midst.
We ask this as a people reconciled to God
through the blood of your cross. Amen.
