Wednesday – Church by Candlelight – 7:30pm – St Georges on-the-Hill Anglican, Toronto

Offered on Wednesday evenings from Thanksgiving to Victoria Day. The candlelight celebration is a time to pause in the middle of a busy week and relax as candlelight and darkness immerses you in an experience of prayer, meditation and music. No prayer books, no hymnals; candles provide all the light needed. The evening offers the comfort of anonymity by candlelight, followed by an opportunity to converse and connect afterwards. This service is offered in-person.

Gracious God, In the life and ministry of Jesus Christ,
we see how your love made manifest transformed those whom you met.
May we recognize your call for faith-filled action,
knowing that even so simple a gesture as a cup of cold water,
offers hope and light in our weary world. -Amen.
