Wednesday – Church by Candlelight – St Georges on-the-Hill Anglican, Toronto

Offered on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. from Thanksgiving to Victoria Day. The candlelight celebration is a time to pause in the middle of a busy week and relax as candlelight and darkness immerses you in an experience of prayer, meditation and music. No prayer books, no hymnals; candles provide all the light needed. The evening offers the comfort of anonymity by candlelight, followed by an opportunity to converse and connect afterwards. This service is offered in-person.

A Prayer for the Week

Ever-faithful God,
You know us by name and show your goodness to us daily.
We, like the Israelites, are prone to stray.
Have mercy on us that we may find favour in your sight.
In the name our Rock and our Redeemer, Jesus our Lord, Amen.
