Sunday 8:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.

8:30 a.m. Said Eucharist

This simple service is straight out of the Book of Alternative Services, without the ceremony of the 10:30 service.  Offered in-person only.

10:30 a.m. Choral Service

This is the main gathering for the St. George’s community. It is a choral celebration of High Mass, rich in ceremonial and beautiful music on the pipe organ and piano. The choir, led by Music Director Ran Kim, leads the congregation in singing hymns and choral music written by a wide range of composers, including John Merbecke, Healey Willan, and our Organist Emeritus, Karen Rymal.

Nursery care and Children’s Ministry are offered during this celebration.  This service is offered in-person and livestreamed.

Following the service, all attendees are invited downstairs to Luxton Hall for refreshments and fellowship.

Summer Services – 9:30 a.m.

During the summer months, we offer one service on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m.  This service is usually shorter, with a simplified liturgy and Eucharist, with music led by a cantor.  For 2024, our summer services will run from June 16 through to September 1.

Music to Feed the Soul - Benefit Concert

Music to Feed The Soul was a streamed benefit concert hosted by St. George's on-the-Hill Anglican Church in Etobicoke on Wednesday May 27, 2020 to support the Daily Bread Food Bank.

The Concert featured the world renowned musical talents of Xavér Varnus on organ, András Weber on cello, and Ran Kim on piano playing works by J.S. Bach, Joseph Haydn and Fritz Kreisler. As well as a very special arrangement of Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen on Cello and Piano.

For those of you who may have missed the show, don't despair. This playlist will contain the higher resolution versions of the compositions performed by these outstanding artists. We will continue to add content to the playlist as it arrives.

We will be starting with the incredible talent of Xavér Varnus as he performs a selection for St. George's and an improvised work that was inspired by the Stained Glass of the church.

We'd like to thank these artists for their incredible contribution to the cause and to our audience... thanks to your generous support we have (as of May 28, 2020) raised $4,155 for the Food Bank which has been matched by St. George's on-the-Hill for a total of $8,310 going to a very worth cause.
