A Prayer for the Week
God of our salvation,
we give you thanks for Jesus Christ, our Lord,
who came in your name
and turned the lonely way of rejection and death
into triumph.
Grant us steadfast faith
that we too may persevere when faced with
rejection and persecution
knowing that your kingdom lies at the end of this journey. Amen.
