Church by Candlelight – All Souls’ Celebration

We are please to announce that Church by Candlelight will be resuming. Join us in person or online for our annual All Souls’ celebration.
As part of this celebration, we remember our losses and those who have died. If you wish to have a loved one’s name included in the prayers for the faithful departed, please email the church at info@stgeorgesonthehill.ca no later than noon on Wednesday, Nov 3rd.
Fr. David Harrison will be presiding, and Mark Wood-Salomon has prepared a moving repertoire of music for the evening. We look forward to seeing you there.
Musical selections will include: I Am the Resurrection – Thomas Tomkins; Thou Knowest Lord – Henry Purcell; and Abide with Me
Our Candlelight Service on Wednesday evenings is a chance to reset in the middle of the week with a calming service of light, music, prayer & contemplation led by Fr. Michelle and Fr. Andrew under the music direction of Mark Wood-Salomon.
Registration
We recommend that worshippers register in advance online. For those with limited access to the internet, please contact the Church Office (at 416-239-2341) by 1:00pm on the Wednesday of the service. Online registration is open until 7:00pm on the day of the service. Remaining space will be made available for walk-in registration at the door.
