Welcome to Church!

We offer Sunday services at 8:30am and 10:30am.

During the summer (Jun 18-Sept 3), we offer one service at 9:30am.

Our Wednesday Candlelight Service is at 7:30pm and runs from Thanksgiving to Victoria Day.  We invite you join us in the fall when this service resumes!

Doors Open Toronto

Our doors will be open to the public on Saturday, May 27th from 10am-5pm and Sunday, May 28th, 1-5pm.

We will offer tours, a chance to poke around the church and cemetery and hear some beautiful music performed by our talented organist and choir members.

Potluck Picnic - June 11

We will be hosting a Potluck Picnic on Sunday, June 11th at noon.

Following the 10:30 service, all are welcome to join us! Bring your kids, grandkids, neighbours and neighbours’ kids.  We will have games and activities for all.  Sign up to bring a main dish, salad or dessert.

Family Programming

You and your family are invited to join us for some fun!  We hold a monthly Messy Church – a programme for families where we do a craft, eat a meal together and hear a story from the Bible – as well as other programming.

Friday, May 26, 5:30pm – Messy Church.  Craft – meal – story.  Lots of fun!

Friday, June 9, 6:30pm – Board Game Cafe.  A low-key, inter-generational gathering.  We have games of every kind!

Sun, June 11, 12:00pm – Potluck Picnic.  With a large marquee to cover the area, we will gather for a picnic rain or shine!  There will be games for all.

PRIDE 2021 for Families - Drag Queen Story Time - The Colour Red

During Pride Month 2021, St. George's on-the-Hill is sharing a variety of opportunities and content from our community celebrating Pride.

This Sunday we hope you'll join us in watching episodes of Drag Queen Storytime - a continuing series for children and families featuring Lucy Flawless as they share children's stories that include messages of inclusion, hope and social justice.

These events have been made possible by the talented Lucy Flawless, the Ajax Public Library, Youth Pride Durham and Durham Children's Aid Society!

Over the next few weeks we'll continue to feature Lucy Flawless and share their stories of the other colours of the rainbow. To find out more please visit the links below!

AND THAT'S NOT ALL!!!
WE WANT YOU TO SHOW US HOW YOU SHARE YOUR PRIDE!

Your Craft Challenge for this week is to create a Rainbow Flag! We've included some ideas in the links below... but feel free to get creative and make it out of whatever you have available! When you're done send us a picture of your creations to: https://stgeorgesonthehill.ca/share-pride
