Front Porch Food Drive

Once again, St. George’s is collecting food for St. James Food Basket!

Last year, we collected over 1000 items from neighbours and friends.  This year, our goal is 1500!

Bags have been dropped off around the community, and pick up happens Sunday, May 11th.  Just leave your bag on your porch and someone will pick it up in the afternoon.

Thank you for your contribution to help food insecurity in our community!

Church by Candlelight

Our final Church by Candlelight for the season is Wednesday, May 14th.
Church by Candlelight will resume in October following Thanksgiving.

A quiet mid-week service featuring glorious a cappella harmonies, a short meditation on scripture and the Eucharist, in our beautiful church space lit by candles.

The service is usually followed by a time of fellowship and refreshment.

Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.

The Tenth Sunday after Pentecost

A Prayer for the Week
God of all the nations,
you rescued your people out of the Red Sea
and delivered Rahab from battle;
you rescue the lowly and needy from injustice and tribulation.
Surround us with so great a cloud of witnesses
that we may have faith to live by your word in our time,
courage to persevere in the race set before us,
and endurance in the time of trial. Amen.

Please join us right here online, this Sunday at 9:30am as we celebrate The Tenth Sunday after Pentecost with Fr. Andrew Sheldon, accompanied by cantor Michael Hartley and Music Director Ran Kim.
