Blue Christmas Service (Church by Candlelight)

Wednesday, December 17, 7:30 p.m.

The Christmas season can be a difficult time for so many reasons. If your heart is hurting from pain or loss, we invite you to join us for our Blue Christmas service, a gentle, contemplative gathering filled with candlelight and gorgeous a cappella music.

Christmas Pageant – “A Blacklight Extravaganza!”

Sunday, December 21st, 5:30 p.m.

Join us for an incredible (and crazy!) Christmas Pageant experience! Fun for the whole family, this year’s pageant will tell the story of Christmas from a whole different perspective as Black Light Theatre!

Bring your family, friends and neighbours to experience a wonderful, contemporary interpretation of the Christmas Story!

Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend!

4:00 p.m – Family-friendly Christmas Eve service (1 hour long)

9:00 p.m. – Traditional Choral Christmas Eve service

Church by Candlelight

There will be no Church by Candlelight services on December 24th or December 31st.  Services will resume on January 7th.

A quiet mid-week service featuring glorious a cappella harmonies, a short meditation on scripture and the Eucharist, in our beautiful church space lit by candles.

The service is usually followed by a time of fellowship and refreshment.

A Prayer for the Week
O Father of lights,
from whose word of truth
we have been born as firstfruits of your creatures:
make us quick to listen and slow to speak,
that the word implanted in us
may take root to nourish all our living,
and that we may be blessed in our doing and fruitful in action. Amen.

Please be advised that due to a technical error in post production we have a slight change to our service order. Please join us in revisiting a gem from our Archive as we share Fr. P.J.'s reflection on this very reading recorded in person in 2019. We apologize for the change of plans but on reflection we're sure that the revisit is well worth it and very relevant to today.
