See you in church!

Front Porch Food Drive

This month, we are holding our third annual Front Porch Food Drive to support St. James Food Basket!

There are a number of ways to be involved: donate, distribute bags, collect donations and sort. Be part of this service to the community.

Church by Candlelight

Church by Candlelight is offered weekly until Victoria Day weekend.

Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.

A quiet contemplative mid-week service featuring glorious a cappella harmonies, a short meditation on scripture and the Eucharist, in our beautiful church space lit only by candles.

The service is usually followed by a time of fellowship and refreshment.

Board Game Cafe

Once a month, on a Friday, we meet to play board games! This event is open to everyone.  We have a huge variety of games to choose from, or bring your favourite to share!  Perfect for families or anyone looking to meet new people in a friendly environment.

Our next two Board Game Cafes are:
Friday, April 17, 6:30 p.m.
Friday, May 22, 6:30 p.m.

Doors Open Toronto

Doors Open Toronto is an annual event that invites the general public to explore buildings and sites around the city, free of charge.

This year, St. George’s will open our doors to the community on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24.

There will be guided tours to help you explore our beautiful 182-year-old building.  Learn about our striking stained glass windows, how an organ works, and some of the colourful characters buried in our cemetery.

How We As Christians Can Respond to Black Lives Matter - Pints of View - June 16

A new season of fellowship, refreshment, and learning has begun. We will gather on Zoom at 7:30pm, every other Tuesday. So grab a drink and join us for a virtual get-together where we'll discuss a topic pertinent to our shared faith, such as ‘The One Question I Would Ask God’.

Today we'll be discussing thoughts about how we as Christians should and should not respond to Black Lives Matter. We'll be using the article "How Christians should ― and should not ― respond to Black Lives Matter" by Kent Dunnington and Ben Wayman (in the link below) as a start for our discussion.
To join simply click on the link below. The Zoom Room will open at 7:30pm

Stay tuned to this page for information and details on what's being discussed tonight!
